Director of Development

The Lloyd Center for the Environment, a highly regarded research and educational organization, located in Dartmouth Massachusetts, seeks an experienced Director of Development to work closely with the Executive Director and the Board of Directors in developing and executing an aggressive fundraising strategy.

The Director of Development will be involved in all aspects of fundraising, including corporate and foundation relations, grant-writing, gift-planning and membership expansion.  In addition to exceptional communication skills and the ability to network at the highest levels, candidates should have 3-5 years of progressively responsible experience in fundraising, with a proven track record in cultivating, soliciting and “closing” major individual gifts.  Bachelors Degree required.
